Editorial policy

This policy covers kakobuyshoes.org. The policy should be reviewed annually and after material changes by a designated responsible reviewer.

Authorship and evidence. Credit the actual author. A scored review requires a reviewer independent of its author to check measurements, order logs and photos before publication. If that review is unavailable, withhold the score. Distinguish direct observations from seller public pages, identify source dates and show observed ranges and sample counts. Shipping observations are not delivery guarantees.

Samples and interests. Record who selected and paid for each pair, any discount or free sample, and commercial relationships. Payment must not buy coverage, rankings or score changes. Do not describe a sample as independently purchased without a receipt.

Scoring. Use the full 1.0 / 5 to 5.0 / 5 range, with 5 maximum. Recommendation eligibility follows independently determined scores: a 4.0 / 5 threshold does not raise low scores or remove failed results. Fit, traction, comfort, finishing and value must use the stated scale; publish category weights before presenting an overall score.

AI and advertising. Identify material AI assistance; an editor must verify factual and numerical output. AI-generated observations cannot substitute for tests. Label verified affiliate links and sponsored content; commercial partners must not control conclusions. Sponsored promotional copy must not receive a hands-on score.

Corrections. Send the page URL and disputed claim to editorial@kakobuyshoes.org. Confirmed material changes require dated notes with the original publication date preserved. A five-working-day response target applies only if a monitored inbox and staffing have been established; it is not a guaranteed deadline.
