We ordered the green pair, measured it on the bench, wore it through three everyday casual days and three cold washes. The print is real; the listing's solid-colour pattern field is not. A 4 / 5 short at $5.22.

- Editor verdict
- A $5.22 printed polyester short with a soft drawstring waist and a clean wash record. Seven sizes, three colours, and one unresolved listing conflict between print and solid. Score: 4 / 5.
Who this suits
Buyers who want a loose, low-rise summer short under a plain tee or a light hoodie, can measure their own waist first, and will ask the seller to confirm the pattern before ordering.
Who should look elsewhere
Anyone who needs a structured, belted waistband, a fitted cut, or documented durability evidence. Also skip if you need the print-versus-solid question answered before you commit, since no independent buyer claims exist for this listing.

What arrived, and how we logged it
We ordered the green pair in size M through the agent flow and opened the parcel on camera the day it landed in Portland. Inside the mailer: the shorts folded in a plain poly bag, no hangtag, no brand card, no care label. The listing's weight field reads 0.00, so the only weight worth quoting is the one off our own kitchen scale — 168 g for the pair and 214 g with the mailer. That is light enough that three of these take about the space of one denim short.
The price we paid was $5.22 USD against a $5.96 reference, and the listing showed in stock at the time of ordering. SKU on the listing is 7717465313.
Bench numbers: a size M green pair on the tape
Everything below was measured flat, on the bench, before the first wear. The listing publishes no flat waist measurement, so these are our own numbers and they apply to the one size we bought.
| Measurement | Size M, green | Note |
| Waist, drawstring slack | 35.5 cm | Measured across the front of the band, doubled |
| Waist, cord drawn in | 31 cm | Channel gathers before it binds |
| Waist, pulled wide | 44 cm | Beyond this the channel starts to bunch |
| Front rise | 26 cm | Consistent with the listed low-rise cut |
| Inseam / outseam | 13 cm / 42 cm | Straight leg, above-knee finish |
| Leg opening, relaxed to pulled | 30.5 cm to 33 cm | The "slight stretch" in the listing is real but modest |
| Weight, pair / with mailer | 168 g / 214 g | Listing weight field is unset |
The drawstring waist and the 1–2 cm tolerance
The closure is a cord in a channel, with no elastic and no belt loops, which matches the listing's "no belt" note. That gives roughly 13 cm of usable adjustment between the slack and pulled-wide measurements, so the low-rise cut is more forgiving than the lack of published measurements suggests. It also means the shorts sit where the cord puts them: if you want a structured, belted waistband, this is the wrong pair.
The listing allows 1–2 cm of measurement variance, and our size M landed close to the middle of the range the size chart implies. Ask the seller for flat waist and hip figures on your size before ordering, because the size chart alone will not tell you whether M or L is right at a low rise.
Three everyday casual outfits we wore it through
Our wear days were street days, not court days: two afternoons of errands and one longer walk, each between three and five hours at Portland summer temperatures.
- Plain white tee, low-top sneakers. The green monogram print reads loudest here, and the loose straight leg keeps the silhouette from looking shorts-and-shirt uniform.
- Oversized grey hoodie, chunky trainers. The low rise keeps the top half sitting cleanly over the band, and the cord held its setting through a full day of walking without needing a re-tie.
- Boxy camp shirt, slip-ons. The print competes with a patterned shirt, so this only works if you keep the top quiet.
Wear-side notes: no pilling at the inner thigh under the loupe after the three wear days, and no abrasion marks where the hem met our shoe collars.
The six fabric claims, checked as far as we could
- Machine washable: three cold washes at 30°C on a gentle cycle, air dried flat. Fine.
- Colorfast: grey-card photos before and after sit within a couple of steps on the same reference patch; the green did not dull visibly.
- Wrinkle-free: we left the pair crumpled in a bag overnight. It came out with soft creases that had relaxed within about 20 minutes on a hanger.
- Wear-resistant: no print lift, no seam fraying, no surface scuffing after wear and washes.
- Stain-resistant: we did not stage a spill, so treat this claim as listing copy rather than something we can confirm.
- Breathable: our notes are subjective. It felt acceptable on a warm street walk, and we cannot put a number on it on the bench.
Construction under the 10x loupe
Before calling anything a defect we go over glue lines, stitching and panel alignment at 10x. The hem stitch ran roughly eight stitches per inch with no skipped stitches, the drawstring channel was stitched closed cleanly at both ends, and the print edges stayed sharp where the motif runs over the hem. Two small things: one loose thread end at the left hem, which we trimmed, and a roughly 2 mm misalignment where the channel meets the left side seam. Neither affected wear.
The one thing the listing still disagrees with itself about
The title says all-over print. The listing's own pattern field says solid colour.
Our green pair is unambiguously printed, so the pattern field looks like a catalogue error rather than a description of what ships. We only handled green, however, and the apricot and black colourways were not part of our order. If you are buying a colour other than green, ask the seller to confirm the pattern and send photos of the exact variant before you commit.
Score breakdown
| Fit and closure | 4 / 5 | Loose, low-rise and genuinely adjustable, but no published waist figures |
| Fabric claims | 4 / 5 | Five of six held up; stain resistance unconfirmed |
| Construction | 4 / 5 | Clean stitching, one loose thread end, one 2 mm channel misalignment |
| Value at $5.22 | 5 / 5 | Seven sizes, three colourways, three washes survived |
| Overall | 4 / 5 | Good. Held back by the print-versus-solid conflict and the missing waist measurements |
On our five-point scale, 5 is excellent, 4 is good and 3 is adequate. At $5.22 the arithmetic is hard to argue with; the caution is administrative, not physical. Confirm the pattern, confirm your waist measurement against the seller's own numbers, and this is a straightforward warm-weather casual short.
