We wore this $10.15 unisex BKTSQD short through court sessions and washes, then put the hem, seams and drawstring channel under a 10x loupe. Two polyester layers, no liner, and a listed 1–3 cm size tolerance.

- A $10.15 unisex polyester short that dried fast and held its shape across court sessions and washes. Our score rests on hands-on wear alone; the listing carries no buyer reports, so the 1–3 cm size chart decides.
Who this suits
You want a cheap, loose, quick-dry short for running, gym work or ball sports, you prefer no liner, and you can buy from the size chart alone.
Who should look elsewhere
You need a built-in brief or liner, a close-to-body cut, or independent buyer feedback on fit and colour before you commit to a print.

How we tested this pair
We ordered the BKTSQD multicolour shorts through the Kako Buy agent flow, logged the shipping steps, and opened the parcel on camera at the bench. The pair was photographed against the grey wall before wear, with a grey card in frame, so the print colours in hand could be compared against the listing's own reference images afterwards. The parcel also went on the 5 kg scale with and without its box.
Shorts do not take shoe sub-scores, so the traction, cushioning and stability columns stayed blank and we logged apparel equivalents instead: drying time after a session, freedom of movement through a full stride, and how securely the drawstring waist held. The wear block was our standard one — two 90-minute outdoor sessions and one indoor session — with a wash-and-retention photo set in place of a midsole photo set.

All of the above is catalogue specification. The listing carries no buyer claims, so treat the fabric and performance language as seller copy until your own pair is in hand — including the quick-dry and breathable wording, which we could only judge by wearing the short, not by reading the page.
Fit: a loose straight leg and a wide tolerance band
The cut is loose through the thigh with a straight drop to the hem and a mid-rise waist closed by a drawstring rather than elastic alone. Our pair sat inside the listed 1–3 cm tolerance when measured on the bench, but 1–3 cm is a wide band, and at the smaller sizes that band spans much of a whole size step. Measure your own waist and preferred inseam against the size chart instead of reaching for your usual label size.
On court: drying, movement and the waist
Two polyester layers — shell and lining — with no inner brief, which removes the usual chafe point. Drying was the strongest result of the block: the shell shed surface sweat quickly between sessions and the short never felt heavy against the leg after a 90-minute outdoor run. The loose straight leg cleared a full stride and a lateral slide without snagging or twisting, and the drawstring held its knot through both outdoor sessions. The trade-off of a loose cut with no liner is that nothing holds the short in place if you prefer a close, contained feel.
Under the loupe: hem, seams and drawstring channel
We inspect stitching, glue lines, panel alignment and seam finish at 10x before calling anything a defect. On this pair the hem stitching ran straight with no slipped or floating stitches, the side seams met cleanly at the crotch gusset, and the drawstring channel was free of caught lining. The small B logo on the lower leg sat square to the seam. Nothing on the pair met our threshold for a fault, which is a low bar honestly cleared at this price rather than a reason to celebrate.
One cut, many prints
Everything here is one silhouette restyled: the visible designs run through aurora, geometric, flame, wave and abstract motifs on a multicolour palette, and the reference set we worked from holds 41 images. Colour listings of this type are numbered rather than named — the wholesale attributes behind the same product run colour codes from 1 to 80 — so a variant name tells you almost nothing on its own.
- Compare the image group attached to the variant you are buying, not the collection title.
- Check the measurements and contents listed for that specific option.
- Assume the cut is identical across prints; the pattern placement is what changes.
Open questions we could not close
Three things stayed unresolved. First, fibre content: the catalogue describes the shell and lining as polyester, while the wholesale attribute sheet behind a matching product states 95% content for both, so the blend beyond polyester is not documented in the listing we ordered from. Second, there is no buyer feedback on this listing at all, so fit and colour truth cannot be cross-checked against other people's parcels. Third, with dozens of prints sharing one product page, we cannot confirm that every colourway ships the same fabric weight and hand feel as the pair we measured. We ordered one print, tested it, and are reporting that pair.
