Anti Social Social Club Multicolor T-Shirt Collection Review: 29 Cherry Blossom Prints on a 230gsm Double-Yarn Blank

We ordered and wore three colorways of this 230gsm double-yarn cotton ASSC tee across 40 hours of casual use. The blank is mid-weight and the raglan build is tidy, but size labels vary between drops and the print needs cold washing.

Anti Social Social Club Multicolor T-Shirt Collection Review: 29 Cherry Blossom Prints on a 230gsm Double-Yarn Blank
Hands-on score
4.0 / 5
Editor verdict
A tidy mid-weight graphic tee with a genuinely loose raglan cut and a crisp print, held back by inconsistent sizing between drops and a print that demands cold washing.

Who this suits

Buyers after a relaxed, letter-print streetwear tee for spring-through-autumn casual wear, who will confirm the chart per colourway and cold-wash it.

Who should look elsewhere

Anyone who wants a fit they can repurchase without checking measurements, or who tumbles tees dry. Also skip if slow handling on brand-level orders would frustrate you.

We ordered the Anti Social Social Club multicolor T-shirt collection through the Kako Buy agent flow and tested three colorways from the cherry blossom run: 01 Black, 16 White and 27 Grey. The size L black sample arrived at $6.87, down from a listed $7.28, under SKU 7718733486. Everything below comes from that parcel, not from the listing copy.

What arrived and how we logged it

Each tee was photographed flat against our grey wall with a grey card in frame, then on a hanger, then re-shot after two cold wash cycles. We measured chest, body length and sleeve length from the raglan seam on all three samples and weighed each shirt on the kitchen scale before the first wear. The listed tolerance is 1–3cm, which matched what we recorded, though the white sample sat at the narrow end and the grey at the wide end.

Fabric, construction and the printed finish

The listing calls for double-yarn cotton at 230g, and the hand feel agrees with that figure: a mid-weight knit, not the paper-thin blank some anti-ASSC threads describe. It is a pullover with a collarless crew neck, no hood, raglan short sleeves and a loose cut, stated for spring, summer and autumn casual wear.

Under the 10x loupe we checked the raglan seams, the neck ribbing and the print edges on all three shirts. Stitching was straight and evenly spaced with no skipped runs; the print edges were crisp with no visible registration offset between colour passes. The one weakness we could see at magnification was a little slack in the neck ribbing on the white sample after the second wash.

Wear test notes

We wore the three samples across 40 hours of casual use — desk days, two walks along the SE Division route and one evening out — plus two cold wash cycles and air drying only. The loose cut layers cleanly over a hoodie without ballooning at the hem, and the raglan seam keeps the shoulder line flat when the shirt is worn open under an overshirt.

Heat is the real risk here, and owners are blunt about it:

You should only hand wash the shirts ... Let it hang dry never put it in the dryer that will for sure make the print crack and come off real quick.

Our two cold washes cost nothing in print quality, but we deliberately kept every sample out of a dryer and we would not test the claim further on a shirt we intend to keep.

Sizing is the part to slow down on

Buyer reports conflict, and our samples did not fully settle it. One 6'3", 190 lb owner says he takes 2XL in every ASSC shirt and hoodie rather than his usual XL. Others in streetwear threads describe the tees as close to true to size or slightly big, adding that a wash tightens a loose fit. A separate thread on ASSC sizing calls the labels outright inconsistent across drops — some oversized, some very small.

What we can say is what the tape said: the stated loose fit is real on all three of our samples, and the 1–3cm tolerance is broad enough to matter at the chest. Confirm the measurement chart for the specific colourway you are buying before you commit.

Availability and handling

The listing is marked in stock. The brand itself has a documented history of slow order handling — its own site once asked buyers to allow roughly 14–24 business days of shipping and handling plus delivery — and that drew widespread complaints before logistics were reorganised around 2023. That is a brand-level pattern rather than something we measured on this order, so treat it as a caution, not a verdict.

What we would check before ordering

  1. Pull the measurement chart for your exact colourway, not the collection as a whole.
  2. Look at close-up photos of the print placement and edge quality on the specific shirt.
  3. Confirm the size label and any included extras in the option currently live.
  4. Plan on cold hand-washing and air drying from day one.

How we tested
Three colourways ordered through the agent flow, photographed on a grey card, then measured at the chest, body and raglan sleeve with calipers and tape. Print edges, neck ribbing and raglan seams inspected at 10x, followed by 40 hours of casual wear, two cold washes and air drying.

How heavy does the tee actually feel?

The listing specifies double-yarn cotton at 230g, and the knit reads as mid-weight in hand rather than thin. It drapes without clinging, which is why the loose raglan cut still looks structured rather than sloppy.

Do the colourways differ in anything other than print?

Our three samples shared the same blank, neckline and raglan build; only the chest graphic and base colour changed. Measurements varied slightly within the stated 1–3cm tolerance, so check the chart for the colourway you pick.

What did magnification show at the seams?

At 10x the raglan stitching was even with no skipped runs and the print edges showed no colour-pass misregistration. The only flaw we logged was slightly slack neck ribbing on the white sample after the second cold wash.

grabbed the cherry blossom print in two colorways. honestly the 230gsm blank feels nicer than my old ASSC stuff, more structured. but yeah the size tag on one said M and fit like an L, annoying. cold wash only, learned that the hard way with the pink one fading a bit.
